The All Party Pharmacy Group has set its agenda for the coming months. Rt Hon Kevin Barron MP, who recently spoke at the seminar hosted by Matthew Arnold & Baldwin LLP in conjunction with Sigma, IPF and Watford Chamber of Commerce, will keep up the pressure on dealing with the medicine supply shortage issue. Aside from that, Mr Barron has announced a new enquiry into determining factors preventing pharmacists from developing their clinical and public health roles. The APPG will look at public perception of community pharmacists, the regulatory landscape and whether distrust from other professionals is holding back any expansion of community pharmacists’ roles.
