The British Association of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers has promised that its members will do “everything” they can to ensure drugs reach patients quickly during the Olympic and Paralympic period. This is despite road closures around events, congestion, unpredictable demand from visitors, and the on-going medicine supply chain shortages. But the BAPW has sought to reassure everyone that it has worked closely with event organisers and Transport for London over recent months in order to prepare. The BAPW had created a special delivery service for the period from 23 July to 11 September.
