If pharmacies are looking for green shoots, they may have found it in the latest survey from Lloyds TSB, which has found that nearly 40% of pharmacy contractors (pharmacists, GPs and dentists) expect their profits to rise by next year, compared with just 25% in last year’s survey. A third wanted to expand their premises in the next five years. Now for the bad news: as with last year, over 90% of contractors expect financial pressures to increase on them in the next five years.
