“I joined Matthew Arnold & Baldwin as an Assistant Solicitor in their Commercial Property Department,  from Wellers in Bromley. I was attracted by the size of this firm, its location, the work it was undertaking and its multidisciplinary approach. I came from a more specialist firm and initially it took me a while to settle in but with the support of my colleagues I soon felt very comfortable. I  have now made some very good friends within the firm.  Most people stay here because everyone gets on and has a giggle (when appropriate!).

I went on to be made Associate in 2005 and was then promoted to Partner in 2007. I was pleased at how quickly I’d got there and felt  it was a recognition of hard work and equal opportunities.

I spend most of my time in the Watford Office but I also do some work in our Milton Keynes Office.

The best thing about Matthew Arnold & Baldwin is the collegiate atmosphere within the firm; I get on really well with colleagues at every level. My department, which is a core area of  the practice,  is well-respected within the property market and everyone in the team works hard to maintain this repuation. I certainly have no plans to leave – I am very happy here.”
